Qualifications:

Despite being on the younger side, Nick has served upwards of a decade for various conservation and environmental organizations including but not limited to Arbrowell, US Fish and Wildlife service, Ocean Discovery Institute and SLEWS a Center for Land Based Learning.

Education:

Nick graduated from the University of California, Davis with a degree in Native American Studies with an emphasis on environmental conservation. Through this program, Nick developed several skills relating to carbon sequestration, traditional ecological knowledge, indigenous flora and fauna and land stewardship.

Notable Work:

Nick worked closely with the director of Native American Studies at UC Davis on a research project focused on using Traditional Ecological Knowledge as a medium for Carbon Sequestration. Nick also worked as part of the Green Initiative Fund, distributing upwards of $800,000 to student led conservation programs on the #1 most sustainable campus in the nation (UC Davis).

Personal:

Nick is from San Diego California, but has found a new home in the San Francisco Bay Area. Nick is passionate about conservation and environmental sustainability and works to promote his community’s efforts in lowering their carbon footprint. In his free time, Nick loves to spend his time outdoors, preferable at the beach or in the high sierras.
