Description

Position Summary:

The Estimator’s primary role is to support the Regional Manager with all estimating, Quote and work order generation, equipment requirements, property inventories, arborist reports, job quality, and customer service. The ideal candidate will be exceedingly well organized, experienced in the Tree Care Industry, flexible, and be able to work in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient.

This is a full time position.

 

 Estimator Qualifications:

ISA Certified Arborist

Certified in CPR/First Aid (Valid)

California driver’s license with clean DMV record (Valid)

Certified Tree Safety Professional (Recommended)

Qualified Applicators License (Recommended)

Electrical Hazards Awareness Program (Recommended)

 

Estimator Roles and Responsibilities:

Responsible in providing quotes/estimates for services provided by the company

Responsible for generating accurate work orders

Posses the ability to show and describe the job to the assigned foreman before the work begins.

Responsible in the quality of work being performed on his/her job site

Responsible in assuring the customer’s satisfaction

 

Estimator Skills & Abilities:

Attention to detail is critical to maintain high quality of care.

Experience in the Tree Care Industry

Solid communication skills in order to complete paperwork and communicate with clients

Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Comprehensive knowledge in arboricultural understanding

Comprehensive knowledge of GIS and tree inventory software

Tangible Measurements of Success

Become self-sufficient by the 90-day introductory period              

Obtain Arborist Certification by the first year of employment

Work orders are to be completed and sent to clients in a timely manner.

Job estimates should accurately meet the needs and expectations of clients; while maintaining all industry approved standards and safety requirements.

Work orders are to be completed in a way that operations can schedule and complete the scope of work while satisfying the customer expectations.
